(sobre os trabalhos expostos do projeto Isolamento, na mostra Trilhas do Desejo, Programa Rumos Visuais 2008-2009, Itaú Cultural)

O trabalho apresentado por Shima faz uso de fitas de isolamento que, em sua instalação, tanto reconfiguram o espaço quanto estabelecem outras movimentações e esquivas corporais nas performances. Os embates do corpo no espaço expositivo, tanto do performer quanto do público, fazem referência direta às relações das pessoas na cidade. Situações de desvios, bem-estar, aprisionamento ou isolamento reverberam nos trânsitos do sujeito entre espaços urbanos e entre outros sujeitos.

The work presented by Shima uses tapes of isolation in their installation, so reconfigure the space as set handling and elusive body in performances. The struggles of the body in the exhibition space, both the performer and the audience, make direct reference to the relations of people in the city. Situations of diversion, welfare, imprisonment or isolation reverberate in the subject transits between urban and among other subjects.
